The short version

OverpayOwl uses a small number of cookies — all functional or security-related. We don't use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.

Cookies we set

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in. Cleared when you sign out.
• oo-theme — remembers whether you prefer dark or light mode. No personal data.
• CSRF token — protects against cross-site request forgery on form submissions.
• Cloudflare Turnstile — bot protection on sign-in and signup. Cleared when you close the tab.

Cookies we don't set

• Advertising or retargeting pixels.
• Social-media tracking cookies.
• Cross-site analytics tied to your identity.

Analytics

We may aggregate anonymized usage signals to understand which pages are useful and which are confusing. These signals don't identify you individually and are stored separately from your account data.

Disabling cookies

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the product (sign-in, theme persistence, CSRF protection) won't work if cookies are blocked. The marketing site is fully browsable without them.
